March Madness, step 2 of 3
March Madness Goal: To have fewer than 100 books left to sell when they arrive
March Madness Method: One-day sale or three-day in-school yearbook sale
This Week’s Madness: Publicity!
-
Publicize your upcoming sale with sales videos or PA announcements. Check out all of the resources on your Work the Plan DVD. If you have no idea what the Work the Plan DVD is, *sigh*, email Kara or Pam for help.
- Rush the lunch room with order forms and order envelopes. BTW, “rushing the lunch room” means you actually ask people if they’ve bought a book and offer them an order form or envelope. “Rushing the lunch room” does not mean flirting with your crush.
Also, make your job easier by taking the list of people who have purchased the book. - Distribute order forms and/or order envelopes as students exit the building at the end of the day and in the kiss-and-ride line.
- Hang up your banner in front of the school or in the front lobby or in the cafeteria. Attach your order forms to the banner with tape. Note: You must move the banner to a new location.
- Hang up new posters (order some from your CSA, if you need them). Attach order forms/envelopes to the posters. Remember the picture from earlier this year?
