Ads of the World: An advertising website where ad agencies share their newest campaigns. It’s a great place to search for theme ideas and concepts.
Computer Arts Magazine: A British design magazine, it includes a gallery of design pieces, tutorials and feature articles.
Creativedepart.com/resources: A collection of PhotoShop brushes and tutorials. We also found links to font websites. The user interface leaves a lot to be desired, but the content is well organized.
Demilked: This online mag describes itself as a “design milking machine” that pulls from the world of advertising, graphic design, industrial design, photography and interior decorating. The home page often highlights free font websites and PhotoShop tutorials.
Designrfix: An online mag, Designrfix features an inspiration blog as well as tutorials.
Dribbble: This site describes itself as “show and tell” for designers. Actual designers, working in the field, post screen shots of current projects. Love this site for its immediacy, not for its completeness.
Electricpulp: This company designs websites for other companies and celebrities, including Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart and Justin Bieber. Yep, Justin Bieber. The website previews may inspire some design greatness.
Inspiration Explosion: This site links you to hundreds of design sites that feature graphic design, advertising, architecture, fashion and industrial design. Links galore to all things designed and beautiful.
Pantone: Check out the 336 new colors Pantone just released, or peek at the fall 2012 colors report. Pantone is color.
PhotoShop Lady: This woman collects all of the best PhotoShop tutorials on the web and posts them in one place.
